Dr. Amanda S. Wickramasinghe

Dr. Amanda S. Wickramasinghe currently works as Director of a Private Academy. She has been in Education for the past 10 years. She has served in multiple leadership roles specializing in curriculum, student success, retention, organizational psychology, coordinating graduate programs, and teacher preparation. Amanda earned her Bachelor’s degree in Psychology from University of California, Riverside. Amanda earned her Master’s Degree in Education with an emphasis in Higher Education from California State University, Northridge. Her graduate research work consisted of education and psychology specializing in cognitive development, leadership and improving educational methods. Amanda received her Doctorate from Pepperdine University and she is pursuing her second Doctorate in Global Leadership and Change. Amanda’s dissertation examined how the iPad tablets will improve education in private academic institutions from the teacher’s perspective. The research examined how the iPad will influence academic excellence; develop cognitive development and student success. As a researcher, her primary areas of focus consist of leadership, global leadership, education, psychology, organizational psychology, cognitive development, and curriculum.
